Who We Are
We are a team of media professionals committed to ensuring that Mongolia continues on its democratic path—where all people can live freely, access vital information, and participate in civic life without interference from political or economic powers.
Our Foundation promotes public interest journalism and open civic discourse in a digital era where traditional public broadcasting is no longer enough. Instead of operating a classic on-air station, we acquire, commission, produce, and disseminate public interest content using modern, flexible, and collaborative methods.

An award-winning journalist and content producer with over 25 years in public broadcasting. She is known for pioneering human rights-centered programming and courageous reporting, including Mongolia's highest-rated public interest show on MNB.

Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) Partnership (2026–)
As an Associated Organization of the Global Anti-Scam Alliance, we are working to strengthen public awareness, information integrity, and coordinated responses to online scams and fraud in Mongolia and the broader region.
- • Promote GASA summits, initiatives, and campaigns to our members ahead of key events
- • Encourage member media outlets to amplify campaigns on scams, fraud prevention, and digital safety
- • Support responsible reporting on scams—fact-based coverage and victim-sensitive storytelling
- • Localize and disseminate GASA’s global research, toolkits, and campaign materials
- • Share insights on scam trends, narratives, and public sentiment emerging in Mongolia
- • Bridge international best practice to Mongolian media, government, and regulators
Past Projects
(Reverse Chronological Order)1. Herd Mentality: Unraveling Climate Misinformation (2024)
Funded by the Bertha Challenge, this year-long investigative project explores disinformation about livestock, herding, and climate policy.
- • Documentary and explainers on overgrazing, methane, and desertification
- • Live debates with scientists, herders, influencers, and government reps
- • Multimedia content aimed at rural herders, youth, and policymakers
- • Objective: empower fact-based climate policy and counter conspiracy narratives
2. Yagaad Social Tok (2020-2023)
A web-based talk show encouraging public discourse on issues such as mental health, disinformation, corruption, and climate change.
- • Features youth activists, experts, and public officials
- • Builds social media engagement and dialogue
- • Integrates citizen questions and real-world issues
3. Trade Facilitation Awareness Campaign (2021)
We ran a national awareness campaign explaining the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement:
- • Created flyers, posters, and explainer videos
- • Delivered workshops for SMEs and journalists
- • Encouraged organic news coverage through media grants
- • Partnered with customs, trade, and economic institutions
4. Collective – National Broadcast (2020–2021)
We acquired, dubbed, and broadcast the Oscar-nominated Romanian film Collective during a Mongolian healthcare scandal.
- • Sparked national dialogue on corruption
- • Supported by the EU and Canadian Embassies
- • Included a live interview with Catalin Tolontan, the film's protagonist
5. Time to Vote Campaign (2020)
Developed music videos and social media campaigns to inspire youth voter turnout during national elections.
- • "Time to Vote" hip-hop song used on TikTok, Facebook, and radio
- • Promoted voter participation with messages tied to real issues: pollution, education, corruption, and equality
6. Pandemic Media Response (2020–2022)
TMPMCF acted quickly to fight disinformation during COVID-19:
- • Translated global public health content
- • Produced explainer videos and talk shows on human rights and health
- • Distributed via 21 TV and radio stations across Mongolia
- • Launched micro-targeted Facebook campaigns in all provinces
7. World Stories (2016–2020)
Broadcast weekly on MNB, this program featured over 100 award-winning international documentaries aligned with the UN SDGs. Each episode was followed by live panel discussions with Mongolian experts and rights defenders.
- • Highest-rated non-news show on MNB (2018–2019)
- • First to air national TV discussions on LGBT rights and other sensitive topics
- • Platform for 300+ Mongolian human rights voices
